Main Inspiration for 1920s character: Pokemon in the 1920s

I enjoyed this assignment today. For the 1920s character, I was really into the pose and every thing. Today's  1920s cartoons in class was fun and made me smiled. I might do more 1920s stuff, and I might have ta anyway.

The characture of the face was a combo between the first one, and the Scott Pilgrim Style.

Ok so, my scanner has no room for the photos, so it got cut off. And no I don't want to do it one by one. The sketchbook looks better anyway. I didn't get to use the red pencil, as I was doing these quick in two steps instead of 3.

I had fun though. Experimenting with styles and such. XD.

When Im 94...

Grandma Rockstar/Artist with a Removable Head

I though of the head thing really from Futurama, and it was sort of suprising alot of people jump the Futurama bandwagon in class today. Im not a fan really, but I like the detachable head idea. and I though of a mecha too, with all the qualities of rock star and art or my qualities. I also derived  inspiration from Mr. Freeze, alot concept art work, and How to draw Mecha manga book. I was thinking a bigger body, but I couldn't do it properly.

August 23 Practice

Just some stuff from August 23 class. I drew poiyo for practicing with my new waterbrush, and drawing with references. It feels like figure drawing again. Gahh, I feel so rusty.

Ok, so I didn't fit the time to color this thing by class time but I go to a point where the line art looks like something. I used a ton of muscle references and intestine references for this baby I didn't care too much about proportion. Alot also changed from the thumb nail. I want to make it somewhat human in a way.

Ill color this later desu. 

Drawing Monster/Nightmare: Creepy Spiderman

Ill draw it cleaner and more detailed when I use my bigger sketch book. Im planning it to be a bit hyperealistic, but then again, its animation. May leave some line art in there.

For first assignment in animation class: Drawing your worst nightmare or draw a monster.

I combined my fears of tentacles/tongues/anything in multiples that can wind someone up and defenseless, spiders (especially an army of baby spiders or a ton of creepy small armies), and human mutations that still look human. I don't per say fear these, but they do creep me out.
